Great news for home buyers was our first impression and of course continuing to focus on investing in the Northern Powerhouse can only be good news for the whole country. The North’s economy grew faster than the South, with more jobs created in the North than any other region in the UK. George Osborne also outlined plans which mean Greater Manchester will keep 100% growth in local business rates which is great news for our home region.
A favourable budget too for many of our contractor clients who are involved with the northern hub and HS2 projects.[/one_half] [one_half spacing=”yes” last=”yes” background_color=”” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” background_position=”left top” border_size=”0px” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” padding=”” class=”” id=””]And the new Help to Buy Isa will certainly help first time buyers and in turn will be a real boost to house building. With the Government contributing 25% to first time buyer deposits via the scheme it is likely to stimulate further demand in the market, demand we are certainly seeing in orders from house builders for on-site accommodation units.
The budget also focused on strengthening Britain’s economy and the increasing rise in the UK’s living standards and with a penny off the beer we can all look forward to the celebrating at the weekend for sure![/one_half]
