We have created a stunning new modular office for road sweeping and haulage company Leedale at Alfreton in Nottingham.
They had previously been working remotely, away from the main depot, which made team communication and management more difficult, so they decided to invest in an on-site, modern office facility which sits right at the heart of the operation.
We designed and built a 5-module Open Space office building which has a central co-working space surrounded by a variety of individual offices and amenity rooms.
The modular steel building was built in just 4 weeks and took only five days to deliver and install.
A new kitchen and dining area provides a space for people to rest, eat and take a break which is especially important for the drivers. The building design also includes store rooms, an IT/photocopier room as well as toilets with disability access and a welcoming reception area.
The new building, which has been named Britannia House, provides a bright, functional space for the operations team as well as a large boardroom and private office suites for management and HR.
Leedales also specified a number of features such as electrically operated roller shutters for added security, automatic blinds, PIR lighting control and air conditioning which have been incorporated into the design.
All of the internal walls were finished with vinyl-faced plaster board to provide a high-quality finish.
The building was been spray painted in Leedale’s new striking aqua blue corporate colours and the company has also reflected its strong branding throughout the interior.
Commenting on the creation of the new office space Oliver Walkup Commercial Director of Leedale Ltd said: “We needed a new office which could be delivered and installed quickly so a modular solution suited our needs. We are delighted with the new building which was designed, delivered and installed to our specification within a very short period of time.”
