AVDanzer is back in the heart of London, at phase 2 of Wood Wharf, once again supporting Canary Wharf Group in the transformation of the historic London Docklands.
The latest phase of this huge development will provide 700,000 sq ft of space across seven buildings of which 390,000 sq ft will be commercial offices, 165,000 sq ft residential and 235,000 sq ft retail and leisure.
To support the Group’s continued development of this landmark scheme we have installed sixteen OpenSpace modules to provide welfare and office facilities including a canteen, induction room, offices space and toilets. The units are connected with external staircases and have been manufactured for sale by our team at Langley Mill with a project value of £230,000.
This is the third project for AVDanzer at Canary Wharf since 2012 and it is fantastic to see just how far the whole neighbourhood has developed over the year,
The Wood Wharf masterplan, designed by Allies and Morrison Architects, provides over 3,300 new homes, nearly 2 million sq ft of high-quality commercial office space, and a further 490,000 sq ft of shops, restaurants and community uses.
The development will broaden and extend the Canary Wharf Estate, expanding its cultural, community and commercial aspects.
The site is one of central London’s largest privately-owned development sites extending to 23 acres and is recognized as being of major importance on a local, national and international level.
Completion of Wood Wharf is currently expected in 2023.
